LifeScape, a non-profit organization, thrives under the leadership and vision of the LifeScape Board of Directors. The LifeScape Foundation provides a strong base of financial stability under the direction of the LifeScape Foundation Board of Directors.

President and CEO

Steve Watkins became CEO of LifeScape in October 2018, bringing 30 years of experience in executive and financial management. He was previously the CEO of a multinational food production corporation, after serving as its CFO. He participated in the Governor’s Trade Mission to China in 2005. He serves on the boards of Children’s Home Society and Sanford Health Plan, where he is currently chair. A Britton, South Dakota native, Steve graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and holds a CPA Certificate.

Kimberly Marso has been with LifeScape since 2002. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology/Special Education from the University of South Dakota and completed both a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis and a doctorate in Rehabilitation Administration from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She is a doctoral-level board-certified behavior analyst, credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc.

Stephan A. Wilson, CPA, has held Chief Financial Officer positions with two community hospitals and a large Midwestern medical system. Besides being a Certified Public Accountant, he is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management and Accounting from Southern Adventist University in Tennessee. He joined the LifeScape organization in 2017.

Chief Human Resource Officer

Jason Schoolmeester, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources. He has led HR teams for 17 years in manufacturing, healthcare, and government contracts. Before joining LifeScape in July 2018, he spent 10 years overseeing HR operations for a federal contractor to support the safe elimination of chemical weapons stockpile sites. He earned a B.A. in Psychology from Dordt College in Sioux Center, IA, and an MBA/JSU from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL.

Jessica Wells joined the LifeScape staff in 2003. She has Bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Resource Conservation from the University of Montana in Missoula, MT. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and a graduate of Leadership Sioux Falls and Leadership South Dakota. Jessica is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals South Dakota Chapter and Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary.

Rick DiSanto has been with LifeScape since June 1992. Rick attended college at West Valley Junior College, San Jose City College, and San Jose State University. His community involvement includes the Supported Employment Leadership Network, the National Leadership Institute on Developmental Disabilities, and he is on the Board of Directors for the Cosmopolitan Club.

Kristin Tuttle has been with LifeScape since 2002. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from South Dakota State University and her Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of South Dakota. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Shalom Lutheran Church, and a Board member for RISE Custom Solutions.

Stephanie Sherard has been with LifeScape since 2005. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications Disorders from SDSU and a Master of Arts in Communication Disorders from USD. She holds her certificate of clinical competence in speech language pathology through America Speech-Language- Hearing Association which she is also a member.
