Person-Centered Excellence Accreditation is a four-year accreditation term for human service providers that transform person-centered philosophies into everyday practices and utilize data to assess the effectiveness of the supports that people receive. It encompasses the validation of a Basic Assurances  Self-Assessment, implementation of the Personal Outcome Measures , alignment with Shared Values, along with various planning meetings, review visits, focus groups, and consultation with CQL staff members. The accreditation visit culminates in a stakeholder event that can include agency leadership, people supported, families, employees, community members, and more, who collaborate on a What Really Matters plan for developing and tracking organizational goals.

“Congratulations to everyone from LifeScape for achieving Person-Centered Excellence Accreditation,” adds Katherine Dunbar, vice president of accreditation of CQL | The Council on Quality and Leadership. “We’re honored to work with them and look forward to this partnership growing in the years to come.”
